The Snow Queen made a magic mirror that enchants anyone who looks into it, making them see only the bad and ugly in the world. When Kaia finds the mirror and looks into it, she becomes enchanted by the evil Snow Queen and is taken away to her icy palace. Her older sister Gerda then sets out on a magical quest to find and rescue her.
