Fun on the Farm Activities are FREE crafts and activities that highlight farm life and the late Victorian era. These Saturday events are an opportunity to step back into history and enjoy the simple things of life.
*Special events hosted by the San Ramon Historic Foundation are fee-based programs that require registration and will be indicated as such.
Jan 27 Barns
Take a tour of the farms 1850’s Barn and learn about the tools and animals inside. Make your own hand-crafted barn with barn animals.
Feb 3 Tin Punching
Many historians believe tin punching actually first appeared in the 14th century Europe in the form of pierced tin lanterns. you will get the chance to learn how to punch tin and make your own creation.
Feb 10 Victorian Valentines Cards
February has long been celebrated as a month of romance. Learn how the Victorians celebrated Valentine’s Day and make your own Victorian Valentine.
