The 157th Scottish Highland Gathering and Games are at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Labor Day Weekend (September 2-3) 2023.
Enjoy the best of Scottish Culture, COMPETITION and Entertainment for the Entire family. Free for children under 12!
The Games Feature Women’s World and Men’s US Heavy Athletics Championships, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, Whisky Tasting and a Spectacular Grandstand Show. Labor Day Weekend at The Fairgrounds in Pleasanton!
Since 1866, California’s longest running Scottish Games features the very best of Scottish competition including, Heavy Athletics, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, and Soccer competitions, and a Kilted Mile race. Live entertainment includes traditional Scottish folk singers, Celtic Rock bands, pipe & military bands, and the spectacular sight and sounds of the Massed Bands. Plus, you can sample the delights of traditional Scottish foods and drinks – including Whisky Tasting!
Games Update 7/11/2023 – The 157th Scottish Highland Gathering and Games will host the 2023 Women’s World and the US Men’s & Women’s Heavy Athletics Championships. Event schedules for Celtic Heritage and Entertainer stages, Grandstand Show, Heavy Athletics, Highland Dancing, and Whisky Tasting have been published.
