Meals on Wheels (Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and Sunol)

Our Mission
Serving Seniors in Contra Costa
We support homebound elders to maintain their health and dignity, and to live independently in the comfort and security of their own homes.
We serve homebound senior citizens who have one or more chronic health conditions that prevent their preparing nutritious daily meals for themselves.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the backbone of Meals on Wheels in your community. We are in continual need of new volunteers to drive more than 90 local Meals on Wheels routes countywide each week day, and for other volunteer opportunities that become available.
Volunteer Drivers
Meals on Wheels normally has Volunteer Driver openings throughout the county. Individuals, families, service clubs and other groups can volunteer to drive a route in their local community one or more days per week, delivering approximately 16 meals per day. The late morning time commitment is about 1½ hours from start to finish. Volunteers are trained by experienced drivers before delivering a route on their own. For volunteer opportunities in your community, please call the phone number in your area.
