‘Lysistrata‘, adapted by Will Huddleston, is a modern adaptation of Aristophanes classic Greek play. Set in Athens, the story tells how Lysistrata led the women of Greece to hold a sex-strike until their men agreed to end all wars.. This adaptation, by San Francisco playwright Will Huddleston, is set in classic Greek style, but with modern (and often bawdy) language.
Presented by Encore Players, this hilarious and timely story is directed by Diann McCannon, and features the talents of Desty Shoemaker, Martha Losch, Bill Leach, Marsha Howard, Martie Muldoon, Jim Lobao, Nancy Wong, John Ruzicka, J.D. Dozier, Martha McDowell, Pat Goard, Victorian King-Bowman, Andy Bowman, Judy Fenton, Ron Correll-Feichtner, Mike Correll-Feichtner, Kristen McCannon, and Jennifer Madden.
