Kelly Clarkson is having a celebrity love fest this week.
It all started when she got to meet stars like Meryl Streep, Steve Carell, Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers at the Golden Globes on Sunday, and gushed about those encounters on her new web series, Minute + a Glass of Wine. Then, Tuesday night, Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo tweeted about her, and the fangirling continued.
“Deep diving into Kelly Clarkson new album. The vocals my god,” Rivers wrote about her album Meaning of Life.
To which Kelly responded, “Um….. I might be tearing up. Seriously, I can’t believe you’re listening to my record and this has made my 2018. Thank you so much! #HoldMeIsStillMyJam #ILoveYourMusic”
And speaking of Minute + a Glass of Wine, as a mom of four – two kids and two stepkids — Kelly jokes that having a drink is sometimes needed.
“They are challenging,” she admitted to reporters during The Voice’s Television Critics Association press tour Tuesday. “Wine is necessary.”
Despite the challenges, Kelly says her kids have taught her a lot.
“I think that [my children] taught me to just look around me and notice the things that are really important, even if it’s just hanging with them, playing on their little piano or taking the time,” she says.
“Because I think in life, as adults, it’s very hard for us to be still. It’s very hard for us to enjoy the moment.”
